Well stated, I also believe this is something we all know deep down. Aren’t God’s laws written on our hearts to the point that if we spend time in contemplation the truth will surface along with the knowledge of scripture?
Peggy Lyons Be careful with that. What you are describing sounds awfully close to the personal interpretation theology that Luther believed in. We can become well versed in the bible though, but the idea that each and every person can come up with the correct interpretation in it of themselves is incorrect that’s the reason why we have 33,000 denominations.
